The Location
Our Zen Inquiry retreat takes place at Sri Anantha Niketan Ashram, a peaceful haven just outside Tiruvannamalai, at the feet of the holy mountain Arunachala, with the grace of beloved Sri Ramana Maharshi. With a spacious meditation hall, open-air yoga pavilion, and lush garden sanctuary shaded by old trees, the ashram offers the perfect setting for silence and self-inquiry. The space is cared for by Gopi ji and Amma, who welcome everyone as family.
Accommodation is simple and comfortable, with clean rooms or cottages overlooking the gardens, private bathrooms, and hot water available in select rooms. Fresh, healthy vegetarian meals are lovingly prepared on-site, using the best local ingredients to nourish and sustain your practice.

People's Experience
Attending multiple retreats with Sangha has been a life transforming, blissful and a great learning experience. I feel so grateful to be a part of Sangha family. The retreats are not just to give you relaxation or emotional release, it’s in itself an experience to initiate your journey of moving towards the TRUTH, knowing your ‘SELF’ & in fact unfolding parts of yourself which have been driving your life unconsciously.
I feel blessed to be having met all these beautiful souls. Thank you Utsav Sangha for everything!
